Stem Cells for Hope Clinic

Stem Cells for Hope – Ukraine

Stem Cells For Hope (SCFH) is affiliated with clinics around the world, has laboratories in the US, Ukraine, and Mexico, and clinics in Mexico and Kyiv, Ukraine.  The SCFH has a number of surgeons, MDs, PhDs, scientists and researchers on its medial and scientific advisory board, many of whom have had work published in legitimate peer-reviewed journals.  Their Chairman and CEO is Walter Kravchenko, and the company offers patients the opportunity to have their own adult stem cells harvested and used to treat a number of possible conditions from which they may be suffering.  Cord blood stem cells are also used at this clinic in Kyiv.  Conditions that they offer treatment for explicitly include:

●     Multiple Sclerosis

●     Parkinson’s Disease

Quality of Care

SCFH also advise potential patients to contact them regarding treatment for other medical conditions.  The clinic recommends that patients stay for five to seven days at their clinic and offer airport pick-up as part of an all-inclusive package trip.  Treatment costs, hospital or hotel stay, meals and round the clock medical care are all taken care of.

Treatment includes stem cell transplantation via intramuscular injection, intravenous transfusion, and in some cases a sub-dural injection of the stem cell solution into the patient’s spinal column.  The latter treatment method introduces the stem cells into the spinal cord and is used to treat neurological conditions.  Any procedure which involves the spinal cord is highly risky as complications from infection, which can potentially spread to the brain, inflammation, or dural tear and leakage of spinal fluid can occur.

The clinic’s use of cord blood cells, or autologous cells from the patients’ own bone marrow removes, in part, the concern over the derivation of the cells which has been an issue with other clinics in the Ukraine and worldwide.  Patients can expect treatments to take longer if autologous stem cells are used as these require harvesting and cultivation in the clinic’s laboratory prior to re-injection.  Using cord blood stem cells will usually mean a shorter stay but patients are advised to consider the origins of the material used.
